Energy Efficient

In light of rising heating and cooling costs, as well as growing environmental concerns, homeowners are making it their goal to upgrade to energy-efficient products that will reduce their carbon footprint. All of the entry doors we install include insulating polyurethane cores, bulb and blade sweeps, and weatherstripping that interlocks with ProVia®’s exclusive CornerShield™.
Our Embarq™ fiberglass front doors are particularly energy-efficient — they offer a U-factor of 0.09, which is among the lowest recorded heat conduction measurements for entry doors in the entire country. As the first design developed under ProVia®’s innovative enVision philosophy — which strives toward unparalleled energy efficiency — Embarq™ fiberglass doors feature custom bottom sweeps, dual perimeter seals, and advanced insulation channels. They’re also 2.5 inches thick, which is 43 percent thicker than the standard 1.75-inch exterior door.
